Madeline Kraus
A native of Lake Charles, Madeline Kraus earned her J.D./D.C.L. from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, she served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy Law and Resources as Production Editor and was published in Volume XIII of the Journal.
Madeline earned her M.A., summa cum laude, and B.A., magna cum laude, from McNeese State University. While at McNeese, she was involved in Greek life and also a member and Co-Captain of the Cowgirl Kickers Dance Team. She currently serves as an instructor at McNeese, where she teaches a composition course. Madeline was admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts in October 2025. She is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Section.
